Meet Clare

Clare is known for her ability to balance strategic vision with feasibility for achievable and impactful implementation. With over 25 years’ experience as a senior leader in operations and finance in nonprofit and for-profit environments, she understands how to identify and prioritize goals, especially when resources are constrained.

Having held executive roles in Maine’s statewide public broadcasting network and its largest public library, Clare has proven expertise in leading organizations through innovative and challenging initiatives. With candor, clarity, and levity, she excels at consensus-building with multiple stakeholder groups, while ensuring that all participants in a process feel seen and heard.

Clare received her B.A. in speech communication from the University of Maine, and her M.B.A. from Boston University. She is passionate about mission-driven, values-based work and achieving strategic goals in collaboration with key partners and constituents. She most enjoys helping others reach their full creative and untapped potential.

A Maine native, Clare loves living on the coast, and appreciates the quality of life and sublime sense of place that her state offers.
